Lyft Inc – Lower after saying it expects Q1 revenue of between $800 mln and $850 mln, below estimates of $901.6 mln. The company said Q4 revenue per rider reached nearly $52, up 13.5%. Lyft recorded some 18.7 million active riders in the fourth quarter, short of analyst estimates for 20.2 million riders, according to Factset.

Chinese EV Stocks – Trading higher this morning as XPEV says its Class A ordinary shares have been included as eligible stocks in the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect program, effective on Feb. 9. Tesla Inc – Filed another recall of 26747 vehicles in the US due to software error which may cause decreased windshield defrosting performance; To perform over-the-air software update to address the issue, separately California DFEH intends to file lawsuit against co. related to alleged misconduct by production associates at the Fremont factory.

Canopy Growth – Reported a smaller third-quarter loss, helped by months of cost cuts and a complete overhaul of its portfolio of cannabis products. Canopy in December also agreed to sell a German pharmaceutical unit, hurt by poor revenue and pandemic restrictions hitting growth. That helped the company cut its third-quarter core loss to C$67.4 million ($53.11 million) from over C$162 million in the second quarter and by 1% from a year earlier. Canopy’s revenue rose to C$141 million in the three months ended Dec. 31, up 7% from the September quarter, primarily driven by its U.S. sports nutrition business BioSteel and vaping unit Storz & Bickel. The company, however, is yet to set a new timeline target for becoming profitable.
