Tesla Inc – Shares are set for a third day of declines after data from China’s Passenger Car Association showed the company sold 33,155 China-made vehicles, including those for export, in June down 5.3% from a year earlier.

Chinese Stocks – U.S.-listed shares of Chinese company are set to fall for a fourth straight session as the crackdown from Chinese regulators on companies listed abroad continues. Ridesharing app DIDI Global shares are down another 6% premarket – set to fall for a fourth straight session, the stock tumbled nearly 20% on Tuesday after Chinese regulators ordered DIDI’s app to be taken down; DIDI had said takedown would hit revenue. Other notable Chinese tech cos, including Alibaba BABA, Baidu BIDU, JD, Bilibili BILI, and Nio NIO are also all back under pressure down between 2% and 5% premarket.

Meme Stocks – Lower to start as a group again this morning, led by the latest red-hot meme stock Newegg Commerce, NEGG shot up 148% on Wednesday and is up 522% just since June 29, the stock tumbled 14% in extended action yesterday and is set to add to those declines at the open this morning. Meanwhile, “old” meme stocks such as AMC Entertainment AMC, GameStop GME, and Clover Health CLOV have lost considerable ground over the past few weeks. AMC stock sank 9.8% on Wednesday. GME stock slid 4.5% and CLOV fell 2.8%. BLIN, XELA and MRIN are also among notable early decliners.

DraftKings Inc – Set to open sharply lower after Engine Media, whose shares, GAME are soaring 25% this morning after the company announced it had filed a patent infringement lawsuit against DraftKings.

Nvidia Corp – Truist Securities raised its PT for the chipmaker to $910 from $768, implying an upside of ~11% from last close, the brokerage says its industry checks suggest improving demand signals for co’s datacenter business through 2021.

Crypto Stocks – Cryptocurrency and blockchain-related firms are also falling premarket, tracking losses in bitcoin BTC after a Chinese central bank official voiced concerns over stablecoins and global growth worries hurt riskier assets, People’s Bank of China vice governor Fan Yifei said so-called “stable coins” may pose risks and challenges to global monetary and payment systems. China has already cracked down on crypto bitcoin mining and trading in recent months; Chinese bitcoin miners account for as much as 70% of the world’s miner population. RIOT, MARA, BTBT, EBON, CAN, SOS, COIN, MSTR are all down between 2%-6%.

Aerpio Pharmaceuticals – Shares of the company are up sharply premarket set to open at a fresh two-year high after brokerage H.C. Wainwright upgraded its outlook on the stock to “buy” from “neutral” and also raised its price target to $22 assuming a previously announced 7:1 stock split. ARPO had entered into a definitive agreement to merge with Aadi Biosciences in May 2021.
