Meta Platforms – Shares of big cap tech swung wildly after the fed minutes were released. In specific news Meta plans to introduce virtual tokens and cryptocurrencies to its family of apps which could be used to reward creators according to a financial times report. Shares are up slightly in premarket trading.

Hewlett-Packard – The Computers and hardware peripherals maker’s shares are up 13.9%in premarket trading. Billionaire Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway Inc disclosed on Wednesday that it has purchased nearly 121 mln shares of HPQ. The investment gives Berkshire a roughly 11.4% stake in HPQ, worth about $4.2 bln based on co’s closing stock price of $34.91 on Wednesday.

Rite Aid – Shares are tumbling down 18% after Deutsche Bank downgraded them to sell. Deutsche states Covid slowed the decline of the pharma segment and there is a possibility that Rite Aid may not be able to generate enough earnings to continue as an operating company

Sofi Technologies – Cut its guidance after the Biden administration extended the pause on student-loan payments. They now edxpect adjusted net revenue for the full year to total $1.47 billion down from $1.57. Adjusted EBITA from $180 to a forcasted $100. Shares are trading down by 4.8% in premarket trade.

General Motors – Trading slightly higher up 0.9% after saying they expect record sales and production in 2022 after being under tremendous pressure following a high profile recall. This was a major setback despite the automaker’s battery supplier, an LG company, taking the blame for the issues. The automatker has restarted production and shipments of the Bolt EV this week.

JD.Com – Share are trading down 1.1% in the premarket after it was announced founder Richard Liu has left the CEO position and President Xu Lei will take over as new CEO, Liu will stay on as chairman. The entire space has seen increased volatility in recent weeks among other US listed Chinese tech companies.

Momentus Inc. – US commercial space company announced that it has signed multiople launch agreements with SpaceX. Shares are trading up 40% in early premarket action. The agreements announced first during their march earnings call reserve slots for momentus on 4 upcoming SpaceX Trasnsporter missions from Oct 20022 through to next year. Momentus trades with a 75million share float.

HTG Molecular Diagnostics Inc. – The micro cap low float life science company is trading up over 30% this morning after announcing it has improved the sample preparation protocl for its miRNA Whole Transcriptome Assay (miRNA WTA) so that it is now harmonized with the HTG Transcriptome Panel (HTP). HTG has a 6.5 million share float.
