Moderna Inc – Sweden will pause the use of Moderna’s MRNA.O COVID-19 vaccine for people born 1991 and later after reports of possible rare side effects, such as myocarditis, the Swedish health agency said on Wednesday. “The Swedish Public Health Agency has decided to suspend the use of Moderna’s vaccine Spikevax, for everyone born 1991 and later, for precautionary reasons,” it said in a statement.
Facebook Inc – Remains on watch trading lower premarket as investors digest the whistle blower testimony in Washington yesterday. Under questioning from Commerce Committee Chair Maria Cantwell, Ms Haugen told senators that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg was told of changes that could be made to the platform that may have reduced the reach of viral content that was fueling violence in places like Myanmar, but the CEO rejected them because they would have made the platform “less viral”.

Acer Therapeutics – ACER and its Swiss partner Relief Therapeutics says FDA has allowed it to file a new drug application for its experimental drug, ACER-001, to treat urea cycle disorders.
