Beyond Meat – Higher after Yum Brands’ KFC said on Tuesday it would start selling plant-based fried “chicken” from BYND across the United States on Jan. 10 for a limited time. BTIG analyst out positively on the stock this morning saying “If this test is successful … it could represent as much as 10% of BYND’s total revenue stream”.

Nikola Corp – Trading higher after USA Truck Inc USAK.O enters into letter of intent with Thompson Truck Centers to buy 10 Nikola Tre BEV trucks. The LOI between USA Truck and Thompson is a “fleet-as-a-service” model through which Thompson will provide sales, maintenance and energy infrastructure required to operate the trucks. Separately, NKLA said it is dropping its $2 bln lawsuit against Tesla in relation to patent violations; both companies agreed to withdraw all claims and counter-claims against each other.

The company showcased the all-electric Fisker Ocean SUV at CES in Las Vegas, following the vehicle’s global reveal at the 2021 Los Angeles Auto Show.
