Elon Musk asked followers if they want an edit button on Twitter, to which the company’s CEO Parag Agrawal responded saying “The consequences of this poll will be important. Please vote carefully.” The move also follows news Monday that Musk has built a 9.2% passive stake in the company.
Nio Inc – Higher premarket on reports the company is considering licensing its battery swapping business. Europe may end up being its first target market, managing director of NIO in Europe said in a recent interview “We are open to selling the platform,” as the company looks to win over more drivers on the continent (currently one of the most competitive markets for EVs). It follows the recent opening of NIO’s first European battery swap station in Norway, which was placed alongside superchargers used by Tesla, in part to display how much faster of a system it is.
Starbucks Corp – Shares in the world’s largest coffee chain are lower for the second straight session after Wedbush downgrades the stock to “neutral” from “outperform”. The company said the data downloaded did not include personally identifiable information like username/password and payment card information. SQ said it started an investigation and contacted 8.2 mln current and former customers about the incident
