PFE.NY 0.98% Pfizer Inc – Raised its annual sales forecast for the COVID-19 vaccine it co-developed with Germany’s BioNTech SE BNTX.O, as a vaccination drive across the globe intensifies. The U.S. drugmaker now expects sales of $26 billion from the vaccine in 2021, up from its prior forecast of about $15 billion. Pfizer has said it expects to profit from the vaccine, while some drugmakers including Johnson & Johnson JNJ.N have said their vaccine will be available on a not-for-profit basis until the end of the pandemic. Reported EPS of $0.86 beats by $0.17. Revenue of $14.6B (+44.8% Y/Y) beats by $980M. Raised Full-Year 2021 Guidance. CVS.NY 2.12% CVS Health Corp – Posted better-than-expected Q1 profit, reporting a 10.5% rise, helped in part by COVID-19 vaccinations and testing at its drug stores. CVS raised its 2021 adjusted profit guidance range to $7.56 to $7.68 per share from $7.39 to $7.55 per share, above analysts estimate of $7.53. Says revenue at drug stores rose 2.3% in Q1, and total revenues rose to $69.1 bln, up 3.5% from prior year. The company said it has been offering COVID-19 tests and vaccines as part of the ongoing federal program. TWTR.NY 0.49% Twitter Inc – Shares are looking to extend gains from yesterday afternoon that followed news Elliott Management had picked up $200m worth of the company’s stock. Twitter also said its “Spaces” audio based app is now available to users with 600 or more followers, will introduce a ticketing feature for “Spaces”. VXRT.NQ 21.57% Vaxart Inc – Up 18% in premarket trading adding to recent gains, the company released additional positive data aftermarket from its early-stage study of its oral COVID-19 vaccine candidate, showing the vaccine demonstrated higher T-cell responses than the vaccines developed by rivals Pfizer Inc and Moderna Inc. UAA.NY 2.52% Under Armour Inc – Higher premarket after positive earnings, the company forecast FY revenue to rise by a high-teen percentage rate, compared with a previous outlook of a high-single-digit increase. UAA also tops first-quarter revenue estimates as reopening markets in the U.S. and Asia fuel demand for its sports shoes and apparel. OCGN.NQ -9.88% Ocugen Inc – Down 6% plus this morning after its recent impressive run, the stock rallied more than 27% on Monday after the company announced positive news related to its COVID-19 vaccine. The company said Covaxin has shown signs of potential effectiveness against three variants of the coronavirus. Covaxin is India’s COVID-19 vaccine, which Ocugen is developing for the US market. PRPO.NQ 15.56% Precipio Inc – Sharply higher for the second straight session after announcing Monday it has launched its Rapid COVID-19 Antibody test on Amazon.. SDC.NQ -8.75% SmileDirectClub Inc – Down sharply after updating its current quarter and Q2 guidance to the down side, the company also officially disclosed a cybersecurity incident and its financial repercussions. SmileDirectClub revealed in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that it was hit by an attack on April 14, causing a systems outage. While the company did not disclose the exact nature of the attack, it did say “no ransom was paid,” suggesting it was a ransomware attack. The attack will cost it between $10 million and $15 million.
