ARK Space Exploration ETF – The much anticipated Cathie Wood lead etf effort is set to make its debut on the NYSE American Exchange today, the first ETF launched by the firm in two years will focus on four main categories: Orbital Aerospace Companies, Suborbital Aerospace Companies, Enabling Technology firms and Aerospace Beneficiary Companies. Paypal Holdings – Is expected to announce later today it will start allowing U.S. customers purchase items from vendors within its network with cryptocurrencies, in the latest embrace of digital assets by a traditional payments player. The company said U.S. customers who hold cryptocurrencies in their PayPal PYPL, -2.22% mobile wallets will be able to use those digital assets to buy goods from PayPal merchants beginning today.

Tesla Inc – Trading lower in the premarket after Elon Musk said late yesterday in a tweet that “near-term cell supply shortage makes it difficult to scale the production of Tesla Semi commercial truck.” Musk went on to say “Demand is no problem, but near-term cell supply makes it hard to scale Semi. This limitation will be less onerous next year.” The tweet came as a reply to news reports about the electric carmaker receiving an order for ten Semi trucks from MHX Leasing LLC.

ViacomCBS – The fallout from the Archegos Capital liquidation continues with both VIAC and DISCA shares trading higher in the premarket this morning. Reports after the close yesterday suggested the hedge fund’s banks even discussed cooperating at one point in an effort to avoid such a fire sale. In a research note this morning JP Morgan analysts singled out Morgan Stanley for its involvement and pointed to “reputational damage” for taking on such excessive risk. Credit Suisse shares are down another 2% premarket after it said Monday it could see as much as a $2b hit to its first quarter bottom line from the event.

Vipshop Holdings – Another Chinese name said to be sold as part of the Archegos liquidation, shares are higher this morning however after the company announced a $500m share repurchase program.

BioNTech SE – The German drug maker said along with its US partner Pfizer Inc it expects to increase manufacturing capacity of their COVID-19 vaccine to 2.5 bln doses by the end of 2021. BNTX cited a new German manufacturing facility and expansion of network of third-party manufacturers and suppliers as driver behind larger volumes. The company also reported an earnings beat with top and bottom line numbers exceeding expectations.

GameStop Corp – The company announced it has appointed former Inc executive Elliott Wilke as its Chief Growth Officer as it continues its move toward becoming an ecommerce company. GME said Wilke, who spent nearly seven years at AMZN and last led its Fresh Stores business, will oversee growth strategies and marketing.

DraftKings Inc – Announced it has acquired Vegas Sports Information Network, Inc. (VSiN), a multi-platform broadcast and content company delivering trusted sports betting news, analysis, and data to U.S. sports bettors since 2017. The acquisition will enable DraftKings, which is live with mobile and/or retail sports betting in 14 states, to further build out its content capabilities and will augment VSiN’s ability to broaden their audience alongside the expansion of legal sports betting in the U.S.
