Exela Technologies – Trading higher again today after filing a prospectus supplement to raise the size of a common stock offering. The increase will be from 100m to up to 150m. This follows yesterdays gains as it caught the attention of the Reddit crowd.
SoFi Technologies – Up another 2.6% in early trading rebounding after yesterday’s intraday selloff. SoFi is again showing strong premarket volume and continued interest from the meme crowd
AMC Entertainment – Little changed premarket after yesterday’s selloff. Still holding the top end of its range and a good portion of the gains from the bump earlier on the week on strong box office numbers.
Clover Health Investments – Up more than 3% in early trading on volume, the meme stock seems to have found a floor at the $12.50 level. Over the last three months, CLOV has added 72.5%. Retail investors in Clover Health appear to be determined not to let up on the shorts, at least not yet.
Palantir Technologies – With Grupo Globo today announced they have extended their partnership for two more years. In its journey toward becoming a mediatech company, Globo teamed up with Palantir in 2019 to use its Foundry software. It is trading slightly down though is already pairing back some of those declines premarket.
Virgin Galactic – Down sharply for the second straight morning after brokerage BofA Global Research double-downgraded the stock to “underperform” from “buy”
DIDI Global Inc – Chinese ride hailing company Didi Global Inc raised $4.4 billion in its U.S. IPO on Tuesday, pricing it at the top of its indicated range and increasing the number of shares sold, according to two sources familiar with the matter. Didi sold 317 million American Depository Shares (ADS), versus the planned 288 million, at $14 apiece, the stock will trade on the NYSE under the symbol DIDI.
Bed Bath & Beyond Inc – The retailer that was recently included in the “meme” stock group reported EPS that missed by $0.03 but beat on revenue. Sales came in at $1.95b vs $1.87b, gross margins also came in above expectations.
Chipmakers – The semi group has been on a nice multi-session rally led by NVDA that recently topped out at new all-time highs. AMD has also provided strength, we’re seeing shares of Micron Technology rising premarket and actively traded after BMO upgraded the stock on continued supply-demand imbalance in 2022. AMD, NVDA, MU
Borqs Technologies Inc – Chinese based, software focused SPAC up on little news but increased online attention. The company announced earlier this month it began delivery of cellular Cta-2045 products to skycentrics for use by utility companies for smart city deployment.
Ocurphire Pharma – Announced its Vega-1 Phase 2 trial in Presbyopia meets primary and secondary endpoints.
Vertex Energy – Shares of the recycling company are up sharply premarket after it announced it has entered into agreement to sell its used motor oil and re-refining assets to Clean Harbors for $140 mln.
