Affirm Holdings Inc – After-market Friday announced it will partner with to make its BNPL service available to certain customers of the e-commerce giant. The tie-up will allow select AMZN customers to split the total cost of purchases of $50 or more into simple monthly payments using its service.

Vaccine Stocks – On watch with MRNA and PFE shares lower premarket, Japan has temporarily suspended another one million doses of co’s COVID-19 vaccine, after foreign substances were found in more batches and two people died following shots from affected lots. Last week, Japan suspended use of 1.63 mln doses after the domestic distributor received reports of contaminants in some vials. Meanwhile, New Zealand has reported the first death linked to Pfizer’s jab, officials attributed the death to the heart inflammation condition known as myocarditis.

Chinese Stocks – Trading mostly higher premarket led by online education companies, the group is looking to bounce after another dismal week last week left most trading near recent lows. Shares in BABA are up more than 1% in early trading, Friday, the stock tumbled after movie promoter and distributor Alibaba Pictures Group Ltd tumbled 10.5% in HK trading, the selloff came after Chinese actress Zhao Wei had all social media accounts shutdown creating further speculation of a widening crackdown in China entertainment industry. Tesla Inc – GLJ Research, citing a source familiar with manufacturing has said, that Tesla Inc has sold ~10,400 vehicles in August domestically in China, much lower than brokerage’s estimate of ~30,000 vehicles. TSLA’s local sales of China-made vehicles plunged 69% to 8,621 cars in July from 28,138 in June.

SPRT.NQ 44.97% – Back on watch after last week’s impressive movement. The little-known software and tech support company continues to its apparent massive short squeeze with the latest data suggesting more than 55% of its already tiny 15m shares float is currently sold short. Shares doubled on Friday after rising 41% on Thursday. The stock has grown tenfold since June also earning it’s own subreddit devoted to the company’s stock.

Globalstar Inc – The small-cap wireless and satellite company is trading higher on an apparent Apple related story from website who reported suggesting the company’s upcoming iphone 13 may use satellite technology.

Astra Space Inc – Shares of the satellite transporter startup are sharply lower after its latest test launch of its rocket LV0006 was ended prematurely about 2-and-a-half minutes after liftoff. The company said one of LV0006’s engines shut down less than a second after liftoff; also said vehicle reached an altitude of about 50 km (~31 miles) before the test was terminated and the vehicle safely returned to the ground.

Vinco Ventures Inc – Another highly shorted name gaining attention from trading focused, social media sites. The micro-cap toy and children’s apparel maker reported earnings on the 23rd and have been actively traded ever since. It’s 18m share float is currently 41.8% short.

Aterian Inc – Another low-float, highly shorted micro cap company that popper on heavy volume Friday up another 50% pre market with little to no catalyst. Last week the stock saw record high call option volume for September $5.00 calls.
