AMC Entertainment – Shares are looking to bounce back trading higher in the premarket retaking the key $55 support level. Moviegoers returned to theaters at pre pandemic levels for the first time over the weekend with F9 raking in $70 million in box office receipts during its opening weekend, the most of any movie released since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
Meta Materials Inc – Formerly Torchlight Energy Resources will start trading under its new symbol for the first time this morning, a special series of a preferred stock dividend was announced along with a 1:2 reverse stock split as part of its planned closing of the arrangement agreement with Metamaterial, Inc.
Paysafe Ltd – Shares are higher in premarket trading looking to extend gains from Friday’s session after Cowen starts coverage on the stock with an “outperform” rating and a $15 PT.
Boeing Co – Down this morning after the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) told Boeing that its planned 777X is not yet ready for a significant certification step, the FAA warns it “realistically” will not certify the airplane until mid- to late-2023.
Tesla Inc – Has been ordered to recall close to 286,000 vehicles in China to fix a software defect which is said to pose a safety risk to customers, according to local reports. The country’s State Administration for Market Regulation said in a statement “the vehicles’ autopilot system can be activated automatically, potentially leading to crashes from sudden acceleration”. The recall affects 211,256 locally-produced Model 3s, 35,665 imported Models 3s and 38,599 locally-assembled Model Ys, covering virtually all the vehicles Tesla has sold in China so far. The US EV maker confirmed it would provide the software upgrades free of charge to its customers. In many cases, the updates can be applied remotely.
Virgin Galactic – Extending its sharp runup from Friday’s session after the company announced it had received its full commercial license from the FAA. Multiple positive analyst moves on the stock today.
Nvidia Corp – Higher this morning after receiving support for its planned $40 billion takeover of ARM from some of the U.K. chip maker’s major customers, according to a report in the Sunday Times.
Clover Health Investments – Back on watch this morning after back to back declines to end last week. The company announced expansion plans to 101 counties across several states late last week. 94 of these counties are in states it already operates in, but the remaining are in Alabama, which is a new state for the company.
Marin Software Inc – Leading the premarket volume list this morning coming off 3 straight impressive gains last week, the company was a favorite of the WSB forum traders last week after announcing Instacart integration with its platform.
Intellia Therapeutics – Gene editing stocks are rallying this morning after the company who partnered with Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc on Saturday posted positive interim data from its ongoing early-stage trial for its genome editing candidate.
