Advanced Micro Devices – Multiple positive analyst moves on the stock this morning after the company reported quarterly adjusted earnings of 73 cents​​ per share topping estimates of 67 cents per share. Revenue rose 54% to $4.31 billion from a year ago; analysts expected $4.12 billion. Advanced Micro Devices Inc S reported EPS for the quarter was 75 cents​. The company reported quarterly net income of $923 million.

Microsoft Corp – Microsoft posted robust revenue of $45.3 billion and a net income of $20.5 billion for the July-September quarter, riding on a strong performance on its cloud, server, and Office businesses. While revenues were up 22 per cent, net income registered 48 per cent growth. The company said demand soared for the software giant’s cloud-based services from businesses adopting hybrid work models. Microsoft said revenue from its “Intelligent Cloud” segment rose 31 per cent to US$17 billion. Analysts had expected US$16.58 billion. Overall, revenue rose to US$45.32 billion from US$37.15 billion a year earlier, beating expectations of about US$43.97 billion.

Twitter Inc – Reported quarterly adjusted earnings of 18 cents​​ per share for the quarter topping estimates of 15 cents per share. Revenue rose 37.1% to $1.28 billion from a year ago; analysts expected $1.28 billion. Twitter Inc’s reported EPS for the quarter was a loss of 67 cents​ or $536.76 million. The loss included a one-time net charge of $766 million from a shareholder lawsuit the company settled. The company did say it managed to avoid a revenue hit from Apple’s privacy changes.

Robinhood Markets Inc – Down sharply premarket after posting Q3 revenue well below estimates. The company, at the heart of retail trading frenzy in meme stocks in January, had flagged a slowdown in retail trading in August. Crypto trading revenue, which makes up for the majority of HOOD’s total trading revenue, increased 860% y/y in Q3 but was off Q2 highs. The company reported losses of $-2.06 per share . Losses of $-1.37 per share were anticipated by analysts providing estimates for the quarter. Wall Street expected results to range from $-1.72 to $-1.13 per share, with a forecasted mean of $-1.37 per share. The company reported revenue of $364.92 million, which is lower than the estimated $431.48 million.

Uber Technologies – Announced a new partnership with Hertz to make 50,000 Tesla’s available for drivers with the platform to rent.   Drivers in the United States will be able to rent the fully electric Teslas by 2023, the program will roll out in four cities across the country – Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego and Washington, D.C.   The rideshare platform explained that most drivers who use Uber own their car, but some drivers rent a vehicle. Uber has offered rental options for drivers through Hertz since 2016.

Coca-Cola Co – Trading higher after saying it expects its annual per-share adjusted earnings to rise 15% to 17%, versus a prior forecast of a 13% to 15% increase, as the reopening of U.S. theaters and restaurants drives demand for its sodas. Revenue from co’s North America business rose 13% in the third quarter, helping it beat estimates for adjusted net operating revenue. KO has raised prices to counter some of the impact from surging commodity and freight costs. EPS beats by $0.07, beats on revenue.

General Motors Co – Said it now expects by the end of the decade, envision connected vehicles, other new businesses will drive more than $80 billion in new, incremental revenue. Revenue from EVS is expected to grow from about $10 billion in 2023 to $90 billion by end of decade. Now believe gm’s full-year results will approach the high end of our guidance. EPS beats by $0.54, missed on revenue.
