Digital World Acquisition Corp – Coming off the amazing price action we saw last week shares are higher once again premarket and have risen 842% since the blank-check acquisition company announced on Wednesday it would merge with Trump Media & Technology Group, worth $8.2 billion now based on the closing price of Digital World shares on Friday, while the company that would be created with the merger would have a close to $12 billion valuation. This assumes Digital World valued its shares in the deal at $10, as is customary for special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs). A detailed regulatory filing that will allow a precise calculation is expected this week.

Paypal Holdings Inc – Officially states it is “not pursuing an acquisition of Pinterest at this time.” Last Wednesday, Bloomberg reported that PayPal was in talks to buy art-sharing social media network Pinterest for ~$70 per share, or $45B, mostly in stock. SNAP sharply lower on the news premarket.

Facebook Inc – Lower premarket ahead of earnings after the bell tonight, late Friday multiple news outlets published stories based on documents provided by Frances Haugen, a former Facebook employee and whistleblower. The reports cite internal Facebook research and documents that show the company is aware of many of the harms its apps and services cause. The company also said it will pay more than $14 million in hiring discrimination settlement.
