ContextLogic Inc – Among the few “meme” stocks showing relative strength in early premarket trading, set to open higher after a choppy session Tuesday, no additional news catalyst this morning on WISH. The stock was number 1 on the WallStreetBets Sentiment list in the past 24hrs.
Alfi Inc – The software maker and recent addition to the WSB focus list is trading down sharply premarket after yesterday’s impressive rally that saw the shares more than double. Some social media users and one portfolio manager on Tuesday cited a Benzinga.com report that Alfi planned to buy back stock as helping to fuel the rally.
Torchlight Energy Resources – Coming off a 30% slashing Tuesday, nearly wiping off a surge in previous session that had prompted the oil and gas producer to raise its stock offering to $250 million. Small-time investors have been piling in to Torchlight, the latest social media-hyped stock, which hit a record high of $10.88 on Monday. It has risen more than 10 times in value since the start of the year, but closed at $7 on Tuesday.
Globalstar Inc – The small-cap satelite maker popped up at #3 on the WSB sentiment list yesterday, with a short interest of only 2.8% the stocks is still technically strong on higher time frames.
Clover Health Investments – Also among the most active premarket trading solidly higher after reversing early gains yesterday. Tuesday, the company filed an amendment to a preliminary prospectus to issue additional Class B shares, which have more limited voting rights than Class A shares. This amendment acknowledged that the stock’s recent momentum could be the result of a short squeeze.
Big Tech – Helped to list the Nasdaq to a fresh all-time high close yesterday looking to extend recent gains in early trading, after iPhone maker Apple Inc, software giant Microsoft became the second U.S. firm to cross $2 trillion in market capitalization yesterday the company has benefited from the work-from-home and remote education boom owing to the COVID-19 pandemic through its cloud service Azure, workplace messaging app Teams and social network LinkedIn. Ford Motor Co – Announced late in the day yesterday it will provide engines, transmissions and other parts for the next-generation U.S. Postal Service (USPS) delivery vehicles being built by Oskhosh Defense. The USPS plans to buy a mix of electric and gasoline-powered Postal Service vehicles.
Xpeng Inc – The smaller Chinese EV offering is gaining this morning on receiving the green light for up to a $2B Hong Kong Listing.
Jiuzi Holdings Inc – Chinese micro-cap new energy vehicle retailer higher in the premarket with no significant news catalyst.
