FedEx Corp – Sharply lower in early trading after posting a 7% decline in Q1 profit and also cutting its full-year profit forecast, after labor costs crimped earnings growth from surging e-commerce shipping and higher shipping rates. FDX says continued supply chain disruptions have slowed U.S. domestic parcel demand compared to co’s earlier forecast.

Adobe Inc – Also lower in premarket trading after saying it expects Q4 revenue of ~$4.07 bln, just nudging past analysts’ avg. estimate of $4.04 bln. ADBE reported Q3 revenue of $3.94 bln, up 22% y/y, vs. analysts’ avg. estimate of $3.89 bln.

Marin Software Inc – Announced after the close yesterday it has entered into a revenue share agreement with Google for company to develop its enterprise tech platform and software products. The agreement is effective as of october 1, 2021

Coinbase Global Inc – Officially dropped its plan to launch a crypto lending program after the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) threatened to sue the company. COIN announced plans for the product back in June but was handed a Wells Notice from the SEC in September threatening legal action if product was launched.

SoFi Technologies – Shares of the online lending company are trading higher after Jefferies called its PT “conservative” and initiates coverage with a “Buy” said SOFI’s industry-leading position in the “neobank” market and its diverse and complementary business model will lead to GAAP profitability within the next 3 years. Jefferies says co’s Flywheel service will continue to drive significant user growth, product adoption, and margin expansion through cross-selling; expects ~46% avg. revenue growth through 2025.

Stitch Fix Corp – Stitch Fix reported Q4 earnings of 19 cents per share, compared with a Refinitiv IBES estimate of a loss of 13 cents. SFIX said it had 4.2 million active clients at Q4 end, an 18% increase from a year earlier, helping it beat Q4 revenue estimates. “We’re encouraged by improvements in the business in 4Q, but we expect the story to remain controversial” – Wells Fargo. SFIX forecast fiscal 2022 net revenue to increase at least 15%, versus estimates of 15.9% jump.

Lucid Group – Looking to extend its impressive now 5 session winning streak, part of the rally was kicked off by US regulators officially awarding the company’s Air with the longest battery range in the world. Data firm Vanda also out this morning with figures showing individual investors bought slightly over $3 bln in stock over the past week. EV-related stock Lucid and shoemaker Crocs continues to see largest retail participation.
