Micron Technology Inc – Multiple positive analyst moves on the stock this morning after the company quarterly adjusted earnings of 98 cents​​ per share for the quarter topping expectations for earnings of 95 cents per share. Revenue meanwhile rose 30% to $6.24 billion from a year ago​; analysts expected $6.21 billion. EPS for the quarter was 53 cents​. The company also provided an upwardly revised Q3 forecast pointing to increased remote working demand on chips. MU shares were up 15.1% in Q1. The company reported quarterly net income of $603 million.

Microsoft Corp – Set to open near Wednesday’s highs this morning after the spiking late in the session following news the company had been awarded an enormous, 10 year contract worth a hefty $21.9b from the US Army. The contract will see MSFT produce more than 120,000 vision-enhancing combat force headsets. Each unit is said to have an impressive $3500 price tag and allows its wearer to see holograms over their actual environment.

Quantumscape Corp – Shares popped up more than 8% after the close yesterday after the company said it has met technical milestones required to close a $100m investment agreement with Volkswagen. The second and final closing under the May 14, 2020 stock purchase agreement between VW and QuantumScape provided a total of $200 million in investment.

NIO Inc – Up 6% this morning after the company delivered a record 7,257 vehicles in March, representing a 373% year-over-year growth. NIO delivered 20,060 vehicles in Q1, a quarterly record.

XPEV.NY 5.37%
Xpeng Inc – Shares of Chinese electric-vehicle maker are also higher premarket set for its third straight session of gains. XPEV said it delivered 13,340 vehicles in Q1, a 487% y-o-y increase. The company also said March deliveries were 5,102 vehicles, which is more than double that of Feb. XPEV plans to unveil its third production model in Q2, with deliveries planned in Q4.

MicroVision Inc – Trading lower in the premarket after yesterday’s impressive rally that followed the MSFT news mid afternoon. Microvision was once rumored to be a possible acquisition target for Microsoft. MVIS is still reportedly a supplier for the HoloLens 2 model headsets.

Future Fintech – Shares of blockchain tech firm are higher this morning after announcing the company plans to acquire a bitcoin mining farm for roughly $10m US. The farm is located Sichuan Province, China and has a capacity to operate 30,000 bitcoin mining machines.

Jaguar Health Inc – The small cap biotech firm is higher this morning after reporting quarterly results that beat expectations. JAGX posted EPS that missed however by $.15/share while revenue topped estimates.
