Coinbase Global – The US-based crypto exchange posted revenue that more than tripled its Q4 2020 performance aftermarket yesterday. Coinbase reported earnings of $3.05 per share and total revenues of $1.8 billion, both number missed estimates of expected $3.07 per share. The company also said about 94% of the firm’s quarterly net revenue came from crypto asset trading fees, profits also surged, with the firm reporting profits of $771 million.

DoorDash Inc – Reported first-quarter revenue that beat analysts estimates, reflecting the sustained demand in food delivery even as restaurants begin to reopen and more people get vaccinated. Sales increased 198 per cent, while revenue totalled US$1.1 billion, surpassing Wall Street’s expectations. That growth however came at a cost. A net loss of US$110 million, or 30 cents a share, was wider than an estimates. Customers placed 329 million orders in the first quarter, a 219 per cent increase, with the gross value of those orders at US$9.9 billion.

Airbnb Inc – Posted a $1.12/share loss in its latest quarter beating estimates for a loss of $1.19/share. The company reported revenue of $ 886.94 million, which is higher than the estimated $714.41 million. The company also beat expectations for first-quarter gross bookings and revenue as speedy Covid-19 vaccinations and easing restrictions encouraged more travellers. Airbnb saw bookings jump 52 per cent to $10.29bn in the quarter, easily beating analysts’ estimates of $6.93bn.

Walt Disney Co – Shares of media company lower in the premarket, as dismal streaming growth overshadowed a Q2 adj profit beat. The company posted adj EPS of 79 cents vs Refinitiv IBES est of 27 cents. Average monthly revenue per paid subscriber for streaming service “Disney+” fell to $3.99 from $5.63, while analysts expected $4.10 per user. The company also said this morning it will begin slowly increasing capacity at its theme parks.

Fisker Inc – Trading up as much as 13% premarket after announcing it had finalized its vehicle-assembly deal with Foxconn Technology Co Ltd which include plans to open a U.S. plant in 2023. Under deal, the partners will jointly invest in “Project PEAR” (Personal Electric Automotive Revolution) and share any profit. FSR also reaffirmed Foxconn will eventually build more than 250,000 vehicles a year for FSR across multiple sites, with initial production beginning at its U.S. plant in late 2023, which it announced in February.

Plug Power Inc – Up sharply in early trading after successfully completing the restatement of its previously issued financials including its latest annual report. The company announced earlier this week it would need to restate recent filings due to accounting changes at the company dating back to 2018.

Gamestop/AMC – Reemerged yesterday as favorites for the WSB Reddit forum again, both traded sharply higher on heavy volume as retail investors showed a frothy interest in both all day. Reddit and Twitter pushed a #AMCSqueeze, and mentions of the stock overall dominated the discussion among online investors.

Bionano Genomics Inc – Another Cathie Wood favorite, reported Q1 revenue of $3.16 mln, sailing past estimates of $2.9 mln in its latest quarter. The company said it saw higher demand for genome analysis services, reagent rental program and also expanded into new geographies in Q1. BNGO posted a net loss that fell 5.35% to ~$9.9 mln in the qtr, driven by a $1.8 mln gain on debt extinguishment. The company also said its current cash and cash equivalents improved to $362 mln as of March 31, 2021 compared with $38.4 mln as of Dec. 31, 2020.

Aurora Cannabis – U.S.-listed shares of the pot producer are down sharply this morning after the company reported Q3 revenue of C$55.2 mln vs. est. of C$68.48 mln – pointing to negative impact of coronavirus-induced restrictions in Canada. ACB also announced plans to move its U.S. stock listing to Nasdaq due to exchange’s “cost-effectiveness,” following similar moves by rivals last year.

LifeMD Inc – The drugstore retail operator reported a smaller loss than expected in its latest quarter, EPS of -$0.47 vs -$0.67 expected. The company reported revenue of $18.2 million, a revenue figure is not available for the same quarter last year.
