Palantir Technologies Inc – Reported a 49% jump in quarterly revenue this morning as the tech billionaire Peter Thiel-backed data analytics firm signed more software contracts with businesses and government organizations across the world. Revenue for the company, which went public in September, rose to $341 million in the quarter ended Mar. 31. Cash flow from operations of $117 million was up $404 million year-over-year, and representing a 34% margin. The company also forecast Q2 2021 revenue of $360 million vs $342.89M est and adjusted operating margin of 23%.

3D Systems Corp – Reported Q1 adj profit of 17 cents/shr on revenue of $146.1 mln easily topping estimates for profit of 2 cents/shr on revenue of $136.63 mln. The company said its strong results were supported by a better performance in healthcare and stabilization of industrial as economies reopen from pandemic-related shutdowns, and lower operating expenses. Healthcare revenue increased 38.7% to $72.5 mln y-o-y, driven by strong sales in both dental and medical applications.

Roblox Corp – The social-gaming platform reported its first results as a public company aftermarket yesterday. The company, which began publicly trading its shares two months ago, reported a first-quarter loss of $134.2 million, or 46 cents a share, compared with a loss of $74.6 million, or 44 cents a share, in the year-ago period. Revenue rose to $387 million from $161.6 million in the year-ago quarter, while bookings grew to $652.3 million from $249.6 million in the year ago period.

Virgin Galactic Holding Inc – Down nearly 20% premarket following results, the space-tourism company reported a wider-than-expected quarterly loss and said it continues to see pandemic-related, ongoing delays in its business and operations. Virgin reported a net loss of $130 million, or 55 cents a share, in the first quarter, compared with a net loss of $377 million in the first quarter of 2020.

Paysafe Ltd – The UK based digital payment platform reported its first results since going public via a merger with Bill Foley’s Foley Trasimene Acquisition Corp. The company posted a net loss of $49.1m for the quarter down from a net loss of $51.1m in the same period a year ago. Revenue of $377.4m was up 5% YoY while total processed payment volume of $27.7b was an increase of 8%. The company also reaffirmed its FY outlook.

Tesla Inc – Down 6% in early trading after announcing it will halt current plans to buy land to expand its Shanghai plant due to current US-China relations. The decision comes after we learned yesterday the company was also looking into exporting model 3 vehicles made in China to the US.

Workhorse Group Inc – Reported a wider than expected Q1 loss of $1.04 per share vs an estimated $0.19/share loss and compares to earnings of $0.06/share a year ago. The company posted Q1 revenue of $521,000, missing analysts’ avg. estimate of $2.6 mln. Yesterday WKHS announced it entered into strategic partnership with a unit of J.B. Poindexter & Co, EAVX, to expand product offerings.

Inovio Pharmaceuticals – Posted a wider-than-expected quarterly loss as its costs rose in Q1, revenue of $371,120 missed analysts’ avg. estimate of $855,140. INO said it plans to begin a global late-stage trial of its COVID-19 vaccine candidate this summer. Last month, the company said the U.S. government pulled the funding for a late-stage study testing its vaccine candidate, citing increasing availability of authorized COVID-19 vaccines.
