Beyond Meat – Yum Brands’ Pizza Hut and BYND announce the launch of plant-based “Beyond Italian Sausage Crumbles” as a permanent offering at restaurants in Canada after a trial in Toronto and Edmonton last summer. In Canada, Pizza Hut offers flatbread, pasta and pizza based on the item, as part of a larger tie-up between parent YUM and BYND. Pizza Hut added Beyond Meat pizzas to its UK menu last year.

Moderna Inc – Higher after the company’s CEO on CNBC said it is working on an omicron specific vaccine that “should be in clinics soon.” MRNA is set to supply 3bln booster doses this year and upped its previous full year delivery forecast to 18.5bln doses total.

Lululemon Athletica – Set to open at a seven-month low and on course for worst day since early March. The company says increased capacity constraints, limited staff availability and reduced store operating hours due to the spread of the Omicron variant of the coronavirus hit holiday quarter revenue, cuts Q4 forecast. LULU now expects net rev to be toward the low end of a previously forecasted range of $2.13 bln to $2.17 bln; Also expects adj EPS to be toward the low end of a forecasted range of $3.25 to $3.32.

Take-Two Interactive – Sharply lower after announcing a deal to buy FarmVille creator Zynga for $12.7 billion. The agreement consists of cash-and-stock each shareholder will receive $3.50 in cash and $6.36 worth of TTWO shares making an enterprise value of nearly $12.7 billion. The price represents a premium of 64.4% to Zynga’s last close. The equity value of the deal is $11.04 billion.

Tilray Inc – Reported an unexpected quarterly profit. Revenue increased by 20% from a year earlier on stronger demand for cannabis products, although sales were still below analysts’ forecasts. The world’s largest cannabis producer by sales said its revenue rose to $155 million in the quarter ended Nov. 30 from $129 million a year earlier. The company posted a net income of $6 million in the quarter, compared with a loss of $89 million a year earlier.

Chipmakers – Leading the Nasdaq lower premarket and actively traded as the move away from high growth and tech stocks continues. NVDA shares are down 2% even as Citigroup raises its PT on the stock to $350, NVDA is also said to be planning to unveil of its newest graphics card: the RTX 3090 TI. These cards were introduced at the recent CES conference and will look to be a game-changer for the PC gaming industry. NVDA, AMD, TSM, INTC
